Wednesday 26 November: If you’re hoping to join us, please complete our very short sign-up form so we can ensure enough seating and refreshments.
As we approach the festive season, our Lights of Love candlelit service returns to offer a peaceful, non-religious space to come together, remember our precious babies and children, and honour their place in our hearts. Everyone is welcome, especially anyone affected by the loss of a baby or child, no matter how early the loss or how long ago.
The Remembrance Service helps me to hear her name read out loud annually, and that means more than words can say.
Doors open at 7pm (service begins 7:30pm) This allows time to complete the remembrance items and for quiet reflection before we gather.
Before the service, you are invited to:
Write a message on a star tag for our remembrance tree
Add your baby or child’s name to the Roll of Remembrance, to be read aloud
Volunteer to light one of five candles during our Five Candles for You poem
Light a candle during the service as we remember together
A short service led by Celebrant Kenan Osborne, includes hymns, carols and non-religious readings. The Sound and Soul choir will join us for the service, and sing during candle-lighting.
If you are unable to attend but would like your baby or child’s name included or a star written in their memory, please email us at or message – we will be honoured to do this for you.
Each family will receive a small keepsake to hang on your tree at home. Refreshments will be served after the service, and a donation tin will be available for anyone who would like to give.
We look forward to coming together in love, remembrance and gentle support
