Jo Prouten

Jo met Jo Nash and Vicky de Veulle in 2008.

Both Jo and Vicky made contact after hearing about the stillbirth of my son. Their contact provided a lifeline at a very challenging time and their subsequent friendship and support was invaluable. I have been a supporter of the charity from the moment Jo first spoke of it and felt privileged when asked to be a trustee.

I am so proud to be part of Philip’s Footprints. The support offered to bereaved parents is essential. I feel the memory boxes are so special as they guide parents at a time when it is impossible to make sense of the situation. They enable parents to make memories that can be treasured later on.

Jo is a local primary school teacher.
