Vicky first met Jo Nash on an online forum for bereaved parents and has been a firm supporter of the charity since its inception. She was honoured to become a Trustee in October 2014. She later took on the role of Secretary, organising our meetings and taking minutes.
Vicky also organises the annual Seymour Sprint along with her husband, Helier. Vicky’s professional background is in marketing and business development, having worked for accountancy, property and law firms in London and Sydney before returning to Jersey.
I am proud to be a part of Philip’s Footprints. There have been lots of memorable moments, but one that I was particularly pleased with was the introduction of the Safer Pregnancy Wallets. These are designed to hold pregnancy notes and provide key information on healthy pregnancies, with signs to look out for and when to call the midwife.
I had read an article about the wallets in a UK newspaper and within weeks we were able to provide these to every pregnant woman in Jersey and have been doing so ever since.
