Early Loss/Miscarriage Support: We understand that an early loss can be a very painful grief, and can feel like a lonely journey but rest assured you are not alone.
We’re proud to work with Rayner Clinic to support women experiencing early pregnancy loss. Today, we delivered another 10 early loss memory boxes to Rayner, taking our total donated over the past couple of years to 220.
We’re sat in the ‘quiet room’, it is peaceful and away from the hubbub of the hospital. This non-medicalised room allows you to meet with medical staff and discuss your situation and a computer terminal enables instant access to your records. There is range of support information on the walls, and together with signposting to our website, which provides a list of local support and UK trusted resources, offers more support.
Next door in the examination room we have also provided dressing gowns, donated in 2023, making those ‘between scans’ trips to the nearby toilet a bit more dignified.
As well as being referred to the hospital counsellor, Philip’s Footprints will also support you without judgment, one to one, in person or online – whatever you are most comfortable with. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, we are always here for you.
